Rebecca M. Szelc

Rebecca Szelc is a 2003 cum laude graduate of Salisbury University, where she received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with an international concentration. Rebecca graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor in 2007 from Seton Hall University, School of Law, in Newark, New Jersey.
During law school, she clerked for Scarinci & Hollenbeck and Kalison, McBride, Jackson & Robertson. As a third year law student, Rebecca worked in the Seton Hall Center for Social Justice, a law school clinic dedicated to the representation of impoverished clients with legal issues such as custody, divorce, support, and protection from domestic violence. Rebecca also spent a summer studying abroad throughout Italy, where she focused on International Constitutional law and International Procedure.
Following her graduation from law school, Rebecca entered private practice with Kalison, McBride, Jackson & Robertson in New Jersey, where she practiced primarily in civil litigation focusing on the areas of medical and legal malpractice defense. She also was involved in the firm’s healthcare practice analyzing federal and state regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid and HIPPA for hospitals.
Rebecca joined Ethridge Quinn in February, 2010 and works primarily out of the Frederick office. She currently focuses her practice on civil litigation, family law, and personal injury. She is licensed to practice in the State of Maryland, the State of New Jersey, and the State of New York.
